Our Story
Founded by barefoot massage champion Al Poliarco, Travel Bars began with a problem: there were no portable overhead bars for barefoot massage. In 2023, as Al prepared to compete in top European massage championships, he built his own prototype from a wooden dowel and metal pipe—then won medals with it in Illinois, Rome, and Copenhagen.
Through continued testing on global stages, Al and his team refined that early concept into what is now the Travel Bars: sleek, durable, travel-ready bars made specifically for barefoot practitioners. Designed by someone who understands the craft from the inside out.
